is for End

All stories need to have an ending. Oops, but not for hyperfiction, isn't it? The space is endless. I can add on a link wherever I like, create new pages whenever I want to, and keep on linking new pages to the older pages, and so on. This electronic era have opened up new possibilities for writing. Now the reader no longer assumes the traditional role of a passive reader. He or she interacts with the story and thus the writer, by not only through the imagination but more importantly, via active construction. In other words, the reader constructs his or her own story according to his or her preference. Delimiting the boundaries of the writer and the reader has never been more difficult.

Who knows? Perhaps in the near future, everyone can be a writer. Or are changes already taking place now?

Now, who says the story is ending?
